CM Punk Appearing At Major WWE PLE Event

CM Punk

It has been announced that CM Punk is headed overseas to one of WWE’s biggest Premium Live Events of 2024.

In news that was broken by Fox Sports Australia, it was announced that former WWE Champion CM Punk will be wrestling at the Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event taking place on Saturday, February 24th.

“CM Punk is back. And now he’s back down under. For the first time in over a decade, the WWE great will wrestle in Australia, with Fox Sports Australia exclusively able to reveal CM Punk will feature at Perth’s WWE Elimination Chamber show next month.”

As you can see there, Punk is also expected to wrestle at the event. It’s not known if Punk will be in a singles match or if he will compete in an Elimination Chamber match.

Elimination Chamber will take place at Optus Stadium in Perth, Australia. According to Wrestletix in a recent update, the venue will hold just under 46,000 fans at the event and they have nearly sold it out.

Since returning to WWE at Survivor Series last November in Chicago, CM Punk has yet to wrestle on WWE television. Punk did beat Dominik Mysterio at two live events in late December. Punk will be wrestling in the Men’s Royal Rumble match at the Royal Rumble on January 27th.

Roman Reigns is not expected to appear at Elimination Chamber.

What Did CM Punk Tell Drew McIntyre On Raw?

During the opening promo segment on the January 8th edition of Raw, Drew McIntyre and CM Punk had a promo exchange that saw the two men exchange words. McIntyre complained about how Punk wasn’t much of a leader during his first run in WWE while Punk said he led by example. Punk ended their promo battle by telling McIntyre that he was going to win the Men’s Royal Rumble match and he would throw McIntyre out last.

As you can see below, Triple H also commented on the news of CM Punk heading to Elimination Chamber by saying “Perth just keeps getting bigger.”
