It appears that the feud between MJF and CMP Punk might not be over after all.

MJF has won a handful of important awards and distinctions as a professional wrestler. he is the current AEW World Champion and has won AEW’s Dynamite Diamond Ring four years in a row.

AEW also has their own awards show – The Dynamite Awards – which serve as the company’s version of the Oscars. MJF has been nominated for several of these and has won two: the 2021 LOL Award (for being thrown into a pool by the Young Bucks on Chris Jericho’s Rock ‘N’ Wrestling Rage at Sea), and the 2022 Best Mic Duel Award for his war of words with CM Punk on November 24th.

But as it turns out, MJF got more awards outside of AEW for his mic skills. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter readers voted him Most Charismatic in 2020 and Best on Interviews in 2021 (voting for the 2022 awards is still underway).

And another wrestling publication, Pro Wrestling Illustrated, also heaped praise on MJF. Under that one, he won the Most Hated Wrestler Award in both 2021 and 2022 and also the Feud of the Year Award in both 2021 and 2022.

However, MJF doesn’t appear to enjoy sharing the spotlight with anyone. He posted a photo of himself holding up both 2022 PWI awards, but what was notable was that CM Punk’s name was blocked.

CM Punk didn’t take too kindly to this, as he responded in a rather scathing way.

“Maybe find some tape for the ratings so nobody sees those either.”
