CM Punk Dedicates AEW Return To WWE Hall Of Famer

CM Punk

Now CM Punk’s return to action is officially set, the former AEW World Champion has named the WWE Hall Of Famer he’s dedicating it to.

When the long-expected announcement of AEW Collision was made, the discussion quickly became about why former World Champion CM Punk was not on the advertising material. It had been speculated that the show was designed for his return, with a hard roster split between the Saturday night event and Dynamite.

It was a week later when AEW head honcho Tony Khan confirmed that Punk would be part of the first Collision on 17th June, and during the most recent edition of Dynamite Khan announced that the main event of that inaugural show would see Punk team with FTR to take on Samoa Joe, Jay White and Juice Robinson.

Now the dust has settled on that, CM Punk has taken to Instagram to dedicated his professional wrestling return to WWE Hall Of Famer Bret Hart.

Whilst this confirms what CM Punk will be doing upon his return to the squared circle, the focus then looks to a couple of weeks later at Forbidden Door. Although Punk has not been announced for a match yet, there has been plenty of talk around who he could face, with an NJPW veteran being the latest name thrown in to the mix.
