CM Punk was revealed to be on the cover of WWE’s 2K26 video game at the Royal Rumble preshow live event.
Michael Cole then brought the champion out to address the crowd.
After speaking about the 30-man Royal Rumble match, Cole asks The World Heavyweight Champion’s thoughts on AJ Styles vs Gunther, a match in which Styles has his career on the line and has to retire if he loses.
I don’t wanna think about that. My money’s on AJ Styles i don’t wanna see him retire
Gunther is a big strong tough individual
I’m glad he’s not in the Royal Rumble so he can possibly not beat me up anymore
But AJ is the phenomenal one for a reason. If anybody can pull this off, I think it’s him.
AJ Styles is my second favourite AJ (After his wife AJ Lee).
