Chelsea Green Shares Major Health Update Amid WWE Absence
Chelsea Green has shared a positive update after recently undergoing a heart procedure.
The Canadian star’s last WWE bout was in February against Lash Legend and Tiffany Stratton in a Women’s Elimination Chamber qualifying match.
During the match, she sustained an ankle injury, which put her on the shelf for the foreseeable future. However, Green kept making appearances on SmackDown, often in backstage segments and in a wheelchair.
She was last seen on television during the May 1 taping of the blue brand, where she revealed to Tiffany Stratton that she was able to walk. Until then, WWE had been teasing a potential team-up between Tiffany Stratton and Chelsea Green.
However, on May 5, the 35-year-old wrestler posted an update on her social media, claiming that she had undergone a heart procedure.
Green later provided an update, stating that she was advised to rest in bed. She also revealed that her wounds had been healing, although her heart felt heavy and breathing was “interesting,” possibly referring to it being irregular.
Chelsea Green Now Off Bed Rest
Amid her continued absence from WWE, Chelsea Green has provided another health update following her heart procedure.
Taking to X, the former Women’s United States Champion claimed that she was off bed rest. She then revealed that one of her nightmares was to sit still. She also thanked everyone who sent her messages, as she shared a photo of flowers she had received.
1 week post op – off bed rest!
One thing about me: sitting still is my nightmare. Thank you to everyone who called, texted, dm’d, etc. I felt very, very loved this week 💓 pic.twitter.com/sH2pGYKb9m— CHELSEA GREEN (@ImChelseaGreen) May 12, 2026
There is no specified timeline for Green’s return to television at the moment. Elsewhere, Tiffany Stratton defeated Kiana James in her first Women’s United States Championship title defense on SmackDown.
