Charlotte Flair was seen pulling double duty at Saturday Night’s Main Event.

Flair was featured in a six-woman tag team match, where she teamed up with her usual partner, Alexa Bliss, and the WWE Women’s Champion, Rhea Ripley.

The trio had been involved in a feud with Jade Cargill, Michin, and B-Fab, who returned to live taping on the May 8 episode of SmackDown.

Cargill, along with her peers, interfered in a match involving the three babyfaces as they faced Fatal Influence (Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley, and Lainey Reid).

The interference not only cost Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss, and Rhea Ripley the bout, but they were also subject to a post-match beatdown.

Saturday Night’s Main Event acted as a precursor for the WWE Women’s Championship match between Ripley and Cargill at Clash in Italy on May 31.

While it was about getting revenge for Flair and Bliss, Ripley and Cargill went into the match to gain an advantage over the other before their big match in Turin next week.

Charlotte Flair & Co. Suffer Defeat At Saturday Night’s Main Event

SNME 2026 kicked off with the six-woman tag team match. Charlotte Flair stood out in terms of appearance, as the gear she wore was full of friendship bracelets she had received from fans.

Jade Cargill, Michin, and B-Fab would not be left behind either. Their attire was a tribute to the late singer and mult-time Grammy Award winner Michael Jackson.

The match kicked off slowly and with multiple tag-ins before Cargill distracted Flair by pulling Bliss out of the ring. This gave Michin the opportunity to take out Flair, which she did to good effect.

The heels continued working on the 14-time Women’s Champion before she managed a hot tag with Rhea Ripley. The Australian superstar briefly dominated the action before finally coming face-to-face with Cargill, her opponent at Clash In Italy.

In the closing minutes, Flair, Ripley, and Bliss celebrated beating down their opponents, but Jade shoved Rhea onto their tag partners. She then followed it up with her Jaded finisher for the victory.

Charlotte Flair Assists Rhea Ripley To The Back

After the loss, Rhea Ripley seemed to have suffered the brunt of some hard-hitting from her opponents at Saturday Night’s Main Event.

In a video that has been doing the rounds on the internet, she can be seen being carried to the back by Charlotte Flair. While no legitimate injury has been reported on Ripley’s part, the footage seems part of an elaborate interaction between the trio, showing the 29-year-old star to be worn out.
