Carmella will be making an in-ring return with a match on Monday’s Raw, but before stepping back inside the ropes, has challenged an NXT star to stop using her catchphrase.

During Saturday’s NXT Vengeance Day, Carmella shared a tweet asking Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams to stop using her catchphrase, as the pair have been using the tagline “Melo is Money”.

Carmella has been using her catchphrase “Mella is Money” for the last few years on WWE, originally followed by a laugh. The phrase gained further momentum after ‘Mella won the inaugural Women’s Money in the Bank ladder match in June 2017.

Carmelo Hayes defeated Apollo Crews in a Two-out-of-Three falls match at Vengeance Day, before completing an eventful weekend by challenging NXT Champion Bron Breakker as the show went off the air.

The former Smackdown Women’s Champion has been out of action for nearly six months and will be facing off against Piper Niven, Candice LeRae and Mia ‘Michin’ Yim for a place inside the Elimination Chamber.

With the opportunity to challenge Bianca Belair for the Raw Women’s Championship at WrestleMania on the line at Elimination Chamber, a winning return for Carmella would offer her the chance to add further glory after a successful cash in on Charlotte Flair on a post-WrestleMania 34 Smackdown led to Championship gold.

During the injury lay off, Carmella bravely spoke about suffering a miscarriage and having to undergo treatment for an ectopic pregnancy, with fans quick to send messages of support for the Princess of Staten Island.
