Bron Breakker’s WWE WrestleMania Absence Not Injury-Related
A new report has revealed this shocking fact about Bron Breakker’s absence from the WrestleMania 42 card.
Bron Breakker suffered a serious hernia injury in training right after the Royal Rumble PLE in February.
The injury required him to undergo surgery, and fans and analysts weren’t sure if he would return on time to have a match at WrestleMania, especially the long-planned one with Seth Rollins.
WWE has been planning Breakker vs. Rollins ever since Breakker was part of ousting The Architect from The Vision faction late last year.
Seth Rollins, who was also nursing a shoulder injury, which was the reason he had to be written off TV in the first place, is now back and active on Raw, tormenting The Vision’s Oracle, Paul Heyman, at every turn.
But the latest twist came on this week’s Raw episode when it wasn’t Bron Breakker who came to save Paul Heyman from Seth Rollins’ deadly curb stomp onto a steel chair, but rather, The Ring General Gunther, who attacked Rollins and got a match set up with him at WrestleMania 42.
The reason behind Gunther’s attack is unclear, but it has come as a surprise to many, especially after Bron Breakker is reportedly medically cleared to compete at WrestleMania 42.
WWE Holding Off Bron Breakker Vs Seth Rollins For After WrestleMania 42
As per a new report by Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, Bron Breakker not being involved in the Seth Rollins masked man angle with Paul Heyman, despite being medically cleared to compete at WrestleMania 42, has a completely different reason.
Meltzer says that the reason not to do Rollins vs Breakker at WrestleMania 42 is that WWE doesn’t have enough time now to build the match and is instead targeting doing it later with a proper build-up.
He also says that Gunther becoming involved, choking the life out of Rollins, and saving Paul Heyman had become the plan inside of WWE’s creative team weeks ago.
The idea of Rollins vs. Breakker is very much alive, but they want the proper television build time
The entire storyline over the past few weeks with Rollins and Paul Heyman was always to build to Gunther choking Rollins out in Madison Square Garden
