Britt Baker has reacted to fans’ questions about her whereabouts during AEW programming.

AEW Revolution took place in Los Angeles on Sunday night, and it was a nearly 5-hour show featuring 10 huge matches on the pay-per-view broadcast.

There were some big returns on the show, including former champions like Will Ospreay, looking healthy for the first time since having neck surgery last summer. Ospreay was on the hunt for AEW Continental Champion Jon Moxley.

Adam Copeland and Christian Cage were also back after several months off, as they went after AEW World Tag Team Champions, FTR.

Kenny Omega hasn’t been out for as long as any of those guys mentioned above, but he also returned to get revenge against Swerve Strickland.

As for former AEW Women’s World Champion Britt Baker, who was the first woman wrestler signed by the company in 2019, she was last seen on AEW TV in November 2024. It’s been nearly a year and a half since she was last seen.

When a fan mentioned Baker on X/Twitter during the Revolution show, Baker made it clear that her absence isn’t because of her.

“Not up to me.”

Tony Khan Claims Britt Baker Could Return To AEW

There have been reports that Britt Baker has been trying to get out of the long-term deal she had with AEW, and because of that, the company chose to “bench her,” so to speak, by paying her to stay at home and not use her on their shows. The idea behind it is that Baker could try to sign with WWE if she could get out of her AEW deal, and AEW wouldn’t like that.

While Baker has missed time in the past due to health issues, there are no known injuries or ailments keeping her out of the ring right now. As mentioned, there are rumors that she wants to go to WWE since she removed AEW references from her social media accounts.

When AEW’s Owner and Head of Creative, Tony Khan, was asked about Britt Baker in February 2026, he said Baker may return to AEW but wouldn’t say when.

“I really like Britt a lot. There’s so many exciting things happening in the women’s division… and Britt’s somebody I really like and respect a lot.

Britt’s still somebody very highly regarded and respected here in AEW. So I would expect to see Britt back in AEW. I just don’t want to say when.”

Regarding her other career as a dentist, Britt Baker confirmed she had to give it up because some wrestling fans are insane and made it difficult for her to continue.
