BREAKING: WWE Star Is Not Medically Cleared, Out Of WrestleMania 42
A major WWE star’s WrestleMania 42 dream has been crushed due to injury.
The Show Of Shows is just around the corner, and the anticipation for it is at an all-time high. As of this writing, 13 matches have been announced across Night One and Night Two of the mega event.
However, the status of one of the bouts has been a topic of great discussion. It is the fatal four-way match for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles involving the champions, Nia Jax and Lash Legend, Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss, Bayley and Lyra Valkyria, and The Bella Twins.
The uncertainty stemmed from the fact that Nikki Bella suffered an ankle injury during The Bellas’ tag team match against Charlotte and Bliss on the March 27, 2026, episode of SmackDown. WWE waited until the last moment to see if The Fearless One would be cleared for in-ring competition. Sadly, that is not the case.
According to PWInsider, Nikki Bella has not been given the green light to compete in the blockbuster match for the women’s tag team titles at WrestleMania 42. Cory Hays of Bodyslam.net also backed up the PWInsider report about the situation around the former Divas Champion.

WWE hasn’t officially named Nikki Bella’s replacement yet, but there is a massive twist that is being reportedly planned.
