BREAKING: WWE World Champion Pinned At Night Of Champions

WWE Night of Champions 2026 began with a bang as Oba Femi reigned supreme over Jey Uso, emerging as the King of the Ring after an intense battle with the former World Heavyweight Champion.

The Ruler overcame some tough challenges from Jey Uso to become the winner and will now challenge a World Champion of his choosing at SummerSlam 2026, putting Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns’ title reigns in danger.

The second match of the night picked up from where the first one left off as Liv Morgan and IYO SKY fought it out to become the new Queen of the Ring at the show.

SKY and Morgan began the match with a quick back-and-forth, but the former Women’s World Champion quickly took control over the current Women’s World Champion.

IYO SKY takes a huge decision at WWE Night of Champions

They began brawling outside, where Morgan knocked SKY into the ringpost and took back control of the match. She hit a huge facebuster from the top rope and followed it up with the three amigos.

IYO ultimately came back into match with some quick fire moves before coming close to a win with a meteora into the ringpost. She then hit a moonsault off the ring apron onto Liv on the outside.

She went up the top rope for an Over-the-Moonsault, but Liv shoved her off the top rope into the steel steps, injuring her left knee. Morgan began targetting her knee to take control of the match.

However, IYO SKY showed incredible resilience towards the end and hit a massive Spanish Fly from the top turnbuckle before hitting the Over-the-Moonsault to get the win and become the new Queen of the Ring.

Morgan, who was cursed by Danhausen before the match began, saw her night go from bad to worse as IYO SKY chose Liv as her opponent for WWE SummerSlam 2026.
