Breaking: Vince McMahon Reportedly Moves To Buy Back WWE

Vince McMahon

Vince McMahon reportedly has a plan to buy back WWE almost three years after its sale.

In 2022, the former chairman retired from the Stamford-based company amid allegations of misconduct. However, he returned in January of the following year to assume the role of executive chairman.

After his comeback, the 80-year-old sold the company to Endeavor Group Holdings, merging WWE and UFC under a new company, TKO. While McMahon continued to serve as TKO’s executive chairman for a few months, he stepped down in early 2024 amid being sued by former WWE employee Janel Grant for alleged sex trafficking and sexual assault.

Vince McMahon May Buy Back WWE With Saudi Arabia’s Help

Over the past several months, rumors suggested Vince McMahon was planning to buy back his former company with the help of the Saudi government.

Speaking on The Coach & Bro Show, former WWE star & ESPN host Jonathan Coachman addressed these speculations, disclosing that his sources have confirmed that McMahon was indeed in talks with Saudi Arabia over a potential purchase of the company, with the former chairman acting as a silent partner.

It is all over the place that Vince in a silent way has now started talking with the Saudi to start engaging with TKO about buying the WWE back and he would be somewhat of a silent partner. I saw it on the dirt sheets and I was like do you really believe it but then my source reached out to me today Vince and he confirmed that that is actively going around at the company and around TKO that those talks are starting right now.
