Nick Khan has announced Triple H’s future with WWE amid departure rumors.

The Game became the company’s Chief Content Officer in 2022 following Vince McMahon’s initial retirement. Although the former chairman returned later, the 14-time world champion remained in his position.

However, Triple H has recently faced heavy criticism from WWE fans and experts, with some even predicting that TKO will fire him after WrestleMania 42 failed to sell out.

Triple H Signs New WWE Contract

TKO has recently decided on Triple H’s future. Despite all the heat the Chief Content Officer has been getting over the past few months, his position remains secure.

During an internal meeting with all TKO departments, WWE President Nick Khan announced that The Game has signed a new contract with the company, according to PWInsider.

According to sources, Triple H’s new deal is a multi-year one, possibly as long as three years.

During a recent Wrestling Observer Radio session. Dave Meltzer addressed the pressure Triple H is under backstage.

Yeah, yeah, it’s a giant issue. He’s, he’s, you know, I mean, I, you know, I mean, everyone’s different, and I think he needs it, you know, or right now in his life, he needs it. I think it’s super hard. I know that it’s got to be stressful. The job itself is incredibly stressful. He has had heart issues.

It was kind of like the idea was just like, he’s rich beyond belief. He doesn’t, you know, he’s got a bad heart. He’s got kids, you know, I mean, it was almost like, why would he want to do it? But in fact, he did want to do it, you know, because it’s, it’s in his blood, you know, without a doubt, it’s in his blood deep.

Meltzer also noted that the 14-time world champion is well respected backstage, particularly among talent who came through NXT, which he led for several years.

He has a lot of respect among most of the talent, especially the ones who came through NXT who think he’s like, they’re, you know, they’re Vince McMahon, their father figure, you know, without the Vince McMahon baggage.

Even though there’s, you know, always going to be issues when you have a roster of many, many people, some of whom are being used well, that might be happy but think that they could be used better… and then others who are sure they’re better than their spot. [H/T: Ringside News]
