BREAKING: Roman Reigns Stops Adam Pearce From Firing WWE Star On RAW

WWE RAW General Manager Adam Pearce was determined to fire a major WWE star before Roman Reigns stopped him.

Last Saturday, The OTC defended his World Heavyweight Championship against Jacob Fatu at Backlash. Despite The Samoan Werewolf’s best efforts, he failed to dethrone Reigns.

After the match, Fatu snapped and attacked the referee and WWE officials. He also launched a brutal attack on his cousin before leaving the ring.

Following the show, Reigns stated in an interview with Cathy Kelley that Fatu did not belong in WWE, claiming that Backlash was his last night in the company.

Why Did Roman Reigns Stop Adam Pearce From Firing Jacob Fatu On WWE RAW?

As Roman Reigns arrived at tonight’s Monday Night RAW, he was approached by Adam Pearce. The RAW General Manager stated that Jacob did not deserve to be there tonight after what he did at Backlash, noting that he was not sure The Samoan Werewolf deserved to be in WWE anymore.

Reigns, however, told Pearce that he could not fire Fatu tonight because he had not acknowledged him yet. He also promised to be the one to take out his cousin.

Pearce: Roman, I know you want Jacob here tonight, but I’m not feeling it. Backlash was too much. He put his hands on my referees. He attacked my agents, tossed me out of the ring, and went too far with you. So, he don’t deserve to be here tonight. I’m not sure he deserves to be here at all anymore. Just think about this. (…) He doesn’t deserve to be here tonight.

Reigns: You wanna fire Jacob?

Pearce: We talked about this.

Reigns: You can’t do it tonight.

Pearce: What do you mean I can’t do it tonight?

Reigns: He hadn’t acknowledged me yet. As a matter of fact, who brought Jacob in here? Who cleared him?

Pearce: You did.

Reigns: Then I’ll be the one that takes him out.
