Jacob Fatu Sends Chilling Message After Destroying Roman Reigns At WWE Backlash

Roman Reigns defended the World Heavyweight Championship against Jacob Fatu at WWE Backlash on May 9. The closing moments of the match saw Reigns use the exposed turnbuckle to slam Fatu’s head into it and secure the pinfall to retain his title.

Fatu was furious after the loss and launched a brutal attack on Reigns in the ring. He even took out the referee with a pop-up Samoan drop. In a fit of rage, Fatu choked Reigns as security officials rushed in to separate him from the champion. However, he overpowered everyone in his path and didn’t even spare Adam Pearce.

Fatu initially walked away but returned to the ring again, choking Reigns once more before standing tall with the World Heavyweight Championship, getting the last laugh. He then addressed the WWE Universe on camera, claiming he “kicked Roman’s a**” while mocking the Tribal Chief.

Today, I just kicked Roman’s ass!… I told y’all how raw I am… I’m off the scale with it… Look at Roman! His punk ass just realized I’m all gas, no brakes with it!”

Roman Reigns Threatens Jacob Fatu To Get Kicked Out of WWE

As Reigns later made his way backstage, Cathy Kelley stopped him for a quick interview. When asked about the brutal assault, Reigns responded that Fatu does not belong in WWE and warned that he would make sure to get him out of the company.

This is why we should’ve never let Jacob in this company. You don’t belong here, Jacob. There is no order with you. This is your last night here.”

It looks like Roman Reigns and Jacob Fatu’s story might be far from over. They could continue feuding and possibly have a rematch in the coming weeks. It will be interesting to see how Reigns retaliates against Fatu after being humiliated at WWE Backlash.
