AEW Dynasty was scheduled to see a new TNT Champion be crowned at the Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia, after Kyle Fletcher’s unfortunate injury.

The Don Calli Family member suffered a meniscus injury recently, which will keep him out of action for some time, forcing him to relinquish the championship. AEW co-founder, Tony Khan, then made a huge decision regarding the future of the title.

He announced a Casino Gauntlet match for tonight’s pay-per-view for the TNT Championship, with the winner being crowned champion. Tommaso Ciampa became the first entrant in the match while Rush was the second after they won their respective matches this past week.

They started the bout in a hard-hitting manner, which saw both of them exchange some massive blows, before the third entrant finally came to the ring. Bandido was the third person to enter the match, and he came in with a bang to win the match.

He was followed in the ring by another high flyer as Speedball Mike Bailey was revealed to be the fourth entrant of the match. El Clon was the next to come out as he looked to keep the belt within the Don Callis Family before Pac came out at number six.

Pac began brawling with Bailey and Bandido after taking everyone out, and they teamed up to halt Pac in his tracks. However, he received some help after Daniel Garcia came out at number seven in the match, before Kevin Knight came out.

After the duo dominated the match for a short while, Anthony Bowens came out as the next entrant in the match. He put on a good display in the match before Rush took him out with the double knees in the corner.

This resulted in a chain reaction, which saw multiple finishers being hit, but their pins were broken by the competitors. The Death Riders kept growing in the match as Wheeler Yuta also joined the fray.

Garcia almost had the match won for himself as he had the Dragon Tamer locked in on Speedball Mike Bailey. He was about to tap out from the pain as Kevin Knight hit a UFO splash on both of them, which broke the hold, and he pinned Garcia to become the new TNT Champion.
