Breaking: Ex-AEW World Champion Makes Surprise Debut On WWE SmackDown
Many WWE NXT stars were called up to the main roster following WrestleMania 42, as many of them made their debuts on their respective brand in the weeks following the Show of Shows.
The likes of Ethan Page, Joe Hendry, and Sol Ruca were drafted to Monday Night RAW, whereas the blue brand bulked up their roster with the additions of Ricky Saints, Fatal Influence, and Blake Monroe.
Ever since their debut, Fatal Influence have been involved in a feud with some of the top stars on the brand and Ricky Saints has been seen on television every week. However, Blake Monroe was nowhere to be seen on the blue brand till now.
Blake Monroe makes her WWE SmackDown debut tonight
The former AEW World Champion had been seen on vignettes claiming that she’d be making her SmackDown debut soon enough. As it turns out, Monroe made her debut on WWE SmackDown tonight during a backstage segment.
She appeared in a blink-and-you-miss-it segment where she interacted briefly with Chelsea Green. The former United States Champion introduced herself to Blake Monroe and claimed that she must already know her.
Monroe responded that while she does know who Chelsea is, she wished she didn’t. Blake then walked away from Chelsea as she was attacked by Nia Jax backstage, in retaliation to what Green had done earlier in the night.
