Braun Strowman made his return to WWE on Raw and now the big man’s next stop is to appear on Smackdown this Friday.

During a fatal four-way tag team match on the September 5th episode of Raw, Strowman’s music hit out of nowhere and he made his way down to the ring to destroy several wrestlers including Angel & Humberto of Los Lotharios and Chad Gable. Strowman also did his run around the ring spot leading to a Spear on the floor that put the big man Otis through the barricade. Strowman also beat up security members with moves like a Powerbomb and then Strowman gave Angelo Dawkins a powerslam through the commentary table.

When Strowman celebrated in the ring, the fans cheered loudly to welcome him back to WWE.

The former Universal Champion Strowman was released by WWE in June 2021 following his unsuccessful challenge for the WWE Title against Bobby Lashley and Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania Backlash 2021 one month earlier.

Strowman’s return came after reports that he was expected to return to WWE following a report from PWInsider’s Mike Johnson last week. That report also claimed that Strowman would return to this week’s Raw in Kansas City, which is what happened.

During a backstage segment on Raw, Strowman was approached by a camera looking for a comment and here’s what Braun said:

“What? Look, I’ll fill you in on everything you need to know. The ‘Monster of All Monsters’ is back and nobody is safe. I’ll see you all this Friday night on Smackdown.”

The nickname that Strowman used was “Monster of All Monsters” which is different from the “Monster Among Men” moniker that he used in the past. Since the WWE creative team changed with Triple H taking over from Vince McMahon, it’s likely that they felt that Strowman needed a new nickname for his return to WWE.

This Friday’s edition of Smackdown on September 9th will take place at the Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle with Strowman making his return to the blue brand.
