Brandi Rhodes Confirms In-Ring Future

Brandi Rhodes

Brandi Rhodes set to bed questions about whether she plans to return to the ring.

Former AEW Chief Brand Officer Brandi Rhodes hasn’t wrestled since January of 2022, when she defeated KiLynn King on the January 26th episode of Dark Elevation. The next month, fans were shocked to learn that she and husband Cody Rhodes were leaving All Elite Wrestling after being instrumental in the company’s formation.

It didn’t take long for WWE return rumors to begin, and while Cody made his re-debut at WrestleMania 38 as Vince McMahon’s hand-picked opponent for Seth Rollins, Brandi hasn’t made a return to wrestling television. She recently announced that she’ll be signing autographs on behalf of the Dusty Rhodes Foundation during SummerSlam weekend, but has also stated in the past that she feels good about pursuing ventures outside of wrestling.

Will Brandi Rhodes Wrestle Again In WWE?

Speaking in a new interview with Chris Van Vliet, Brandi Rhodes opened up about her future and confirmed that while it may have been “anticlimactic,” she is in fact retired from the ring as she doesn’t want to raise their young daughter on the road.

“You know, not as an active competitor. For sure. [You’ve retired as a wrestler?] Yeah, I mean, it was really anticlimactic. But yes, I did. I just said you know what? Okay, well, we are either gonna do this the Becky Lynch, you know, Seth Rollins way. And they are amazing for doing it, because I can’t. It just was too hard, well not too hard, but just something that I just didn’t think would be the best for the family.

“So, you know, we’ve gone a different route, and I’ve started business ventures on my own and he’s doing his thing and we’re just doing a couple of different things.”
