Brandi Rhodes has not been involved in the wrestling business since leaving AEW in early 2022 but she certainly has plans for SummerSlam weekend in Detroit.
On Raw in Buffalo, New York, Cody Rhodes laid down the challenge everyone has been waiting for as he told Brock Lesnar he wanted him in a rubber match at SummerSlam. Not only that, Rhodes’ promo suggests he’s already thinking about what’s next for him should he defeat The Beast Incarnate as he says the winner of the match will be “next in line.”
While that may be keeping The American Nightmare busy over the first weekend in August, his wife Brandi Rhodes has revealed she has plans of her own in her home state of Michigan.
Brandi Rhodes took to social media to reveal that she will be appearing at Wrestlecon in Detroit over SummerSlam weekend to help raise money on behalf of the Dusty Rhodes Foundation:
“We did so well at Mania, let’s do it again at #SummerSlam !! I will be signing on behalf of the Dusty Rhodes Foundation with 100% of the proceeds going to a Detroit youth sports organization that I have selected Let’s get together in my hometown and have some fun.”
