Booker T Wants Two Top AEW Stars To Join WWE

Booker T

WWE Hall of Famer Booker T has named the two AEW stars he would like to see make the jump to WWE.

Shortly after AEW was founded in 2019, the company began snapping up former WWE stars like Chris Jericho and Jon Moxley. As the company established itself, names like Bryan Danielson, Adam Cole, and Christian Cage also made the leap to the fledgling promotion.

However, in recent months WWE has begun making its own moves to secure the services of AEW talent. Most notably Cody Rhodes, one of the founders and an EVP in AEW made his shock return to WWE at WrestleMania 38 as the mystery opponent of Seth Rollins.

Now, multi-time World Champion Booker T has weighed in on who he would like to see follow in Rhodes’ footsteps.

Speaking on his Hall of Fame podcast, Booker named the current undefeated TBS Champion Jade Cargill as a wrestler he believes would do well with the sports entertainment giant.

“She’s kind of like under the radar, you know what I mean? She’s not in the big belt picture. She’s like on her own wing . . . It’s not like she’s really in the division. (she) has WWE written all over her.”

He also reiterated his hope that the AEW World Champion, MJF, will also head to WWE.

“People always say, ‘Why is Booker T always putting MJF over?'” he said. “Because, damn it, I want him in the WWE.”
