Bittersweet Win For WWE Star Over Charlotte Flair
One WWE star has explained why their monumental victory over Charlotte Flair was bittersweet.
The Elimination Chamber is on the horizon, with six men and six women entering the demonic structure with WrestleMania title shots on the line. Roman Reigns called his shot against CM Punk after Reigns won the Royal Rumble while Liv Morgan also made her decision when it came to WrestleMania. All of that meant that Jade Cargill and Drew McIntyre will no doubt be keeping a close eye on what happens in the Chamber.
One star making their debut inside the Elimination Chamber will be Kiana James. Jame surprised many when she picked up a win over Nia Jax and Charlotte Flair to qualify for the Chamber, but she admits that the win was bittersweet.
Kiana James Reflects On Charlotte Flair WWE Win
Speaking to TMZ’s Inside The Ring, James admitted that due to her close relationship with Charlotte Flair, there was a bittersweet tinge to beating her:
I think there’s a bittersweet to that. Because we’ve become partners in the gym and training through knee rehab and things like that. But also, taking a step back and realizing, this is the most decorated woman in WWE of all time. Being able to be like, ‘You just did that, you just pinned the best of the best.’
So it was a great moment for me and it’s something that I’ll definitely remember for a long time. [h/t WrestleTalk]
