WWE NXT hosted a two-week television special that comes to an end tonight, with the second episode of Revenge Week airing live from the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.

A huge championship match was on the cards tonight, with Lexis King challenging EK Prosper for the WWE Speed Championship in the tournament final to crown a new champion.

Former WWE Speed Champion, Elio LeFleur, was forced to relinquish the belt after suffering a serious injury that has ruled him out for the next six months, leading to this Speed Championship tournament.

Lexis King crowned the WWE Speed Champion on NXT tonight

BirthRight’s leader Lexis King reached the final of the tournament after seeing off competition from Chazz “Starboy” Hall in the semi final. On the other side of the bracket, EK Prosper defeated Dorian Van Dux to reach the final.

Both of them had a quick and intense bout tonight where Prosper even took out the rest of BirthRight on ringside while fighting Lexis. He was then slapped by Arianna Grace behind the referee’s back, leading him to knock out Stacks and Uriah Connors.

However, this distracted him from the match, allowing King to hit him with the Coronation to become the new WWE Speed Champion. With this win, he became the second person to hold a title in BirthRight, after Grace’s TNA Knockouts World Championship.
