Major WWE Champion Forced To Relinquish Title On NXT

WWE NXT currently boasts quite a few champions on the roster, and with Stand and Deliver just days away, the black and silver brand has been dealt a huge blow.

Several NXT stars have been subject to brutal takedowns recently, with the likes of Jasper Troy, Eli Knight, and Sean Legacy being involved in various attacks.

Just last week, the team of Eli Knight and Sean Legacy was injured in a brutal backstage attack, ruling them out of the NXT Tag Team Championship Number One Contender’s tournament.

Elio LeFluer suffered a major injury in WWE recently

It was an unfortunate night for Legacy, who had just replaced the WWE Speed Champion, Elio LeFluer in the tournament. LeFluer recently won the Speed title and was set to team with Knight for the tournament.

However, the champion suffered an injury to his right shoulder during a live event, ruling him out of the tournament. LeFluer provided a major update on his condition tonight.

He gave an unfortunate update regarding his injury status, confirming that he suffered a torn ligament in his shoulder and will be out for the next six months. LeFluer then announced that he will be relinquishing his WWE Speed Championship before urging Eli Knight to win the tournament that will be held to crown a new champion.
