Big Update On Kairi Sane Following WWE Exit

Kairi Sane’s 90-day non-compete clause has ended, and she is now free to join any promotion she likes.

WWE released Sane on April 24, 2026, along with 20+ other superstars as part of the post-WrestleMania cuts. She was reportedly released because she wanted to move to Japan, but Sane has said otherwise.

She was in the middle of a long-standing storyline with Asuka and Iyo Sky when she was let go from the company. Her 90-day non-compete clause ended on July 24, and according to a new report, she is now “evaluating her future.”

Fightful Select recently released an update revealing that now that Kairi Sane is officially a free agent, she is “making moves.” Ever since her termination period ended a few days ago, Kairi Sane’s next destination has been a major topic of discussion in the professional wrestling world.

The report also highlighted that Kairi recently changed her social media bios, adding that she is now represented by Barry Bloom’s agency, which is one of the most high-profile agencies in the wrestling world.

Fightful Select added that Kairi was not at AEW Redemption or Marigold this weekend, even though she was “contractually eligible” to make an appearance. Currently, she hasn’t signed with any promotion, as she is “actively evaluating her future.”

Given Kairi’s star power and market credibility as a veteran, several companies have expressed interest in signing her. Some have also expressed interest in bringing in Sane for non-contracted appearances.

Apart from WWE, Kairi Sane has worked for other top promotions in the wrestling world, like World Wonder Ring Stardom and New Japan Pro Wrestling. Word on the street is that she might land in Tony Khan’s All Elite Wrestling. It’ll be interesting to see which company Kairi chooses as her next home.
