Why Big E Wants To Reunite With Former WWE Partners?
Big E has admitted that he would one day like to reunite with his ‘ The New Day’ stablemates.
Before joining the stable, his in-ring persona was more serious and stoic, where he acted as an enforcer for AJ Lee and Dolph Ziggler.
However, he was able to shed the gimmick, transitioning into a more joyful, playful, and confident talent after joining The New Day in 2014.
With his teammates, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods, he earned multiple honors, even winning the WWE Raw and SmackDown tag titles on multiple occasions.
He was previously an NXT Champion and went on to become a WWE Champion on the main roster after cashing in his Money in the Bank contract on Bobby Lashley during a taping of the red brand in September 2021.
Big E is now a retired wrestler, having been forced to arrive at the decision after living through numerous injuries, including the career-altering neck injury he suffered during a tag team match on SmackDown in March 2022.
Big E Open To Reuniting With His Former Tag Partners
In December 2024, Big E suffered a setback when Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston turned heel and kicked the injured star out of the faction, accusing him of abandoning them.
The members are often seen criticizing each other during interviews or social media interactions, revealing that things have gotten sour between them.
Nevertheless, while recently speaking on the 107.7 The Bone podcast, the 39-year-old expressed his wish to reunited with Woods and Kingston if he was ever to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.
While explaining his decision, Big E claimed that The New Day was the reason why he was still active today, despite not competing inside the squared circle.
He also revealed that if he were to be inducted into the HOF, he would prefer it happened for them as a group, especially due to his singles title run lasting only 110 days.
