Bianca Belair Has Two Women In Mind As WrestleMania Opponents

Bianca Belair has a good idea of who she wants to face at WrestleMania if it was up to her.

During her WWE career, Bianca Belair has wrestled at two WrestleManias as a challenger and left both of them as a champion. In 2021, Belair headlined WrestleMania 37 Night One as she challenged Smackdown Women’s Champion Bianca Belair in a match that made history as the first two black women to headline WrestleMania together. Belair won the Smackdown Women’s Title that night in what is arguably the biggest of her career to date.

At WrestleMania 38 this past April, Belair defeated Becky Lynch to become the Raw Women’s Champion for the first time in her career. When they had a rematch at SummerSlam (one year after Belair lost her title to Lynch), Belair won again to put an end to that rivalry.

Recently, Belair has had to deal with former Raw and Smackdown Women’s Champion Bayley coming after her title. Belair beat Bayley in a Ladder Match at Extreme Rules and a Last Woman Standing Match at Crown Jewel to keep her title.

Rhea Ripley did an interview where she talked about having a brief staredown backstage on Raw, which has led to Ripley saying “I want my title back” while referring to the Raw Women’s Title.

Belair was asked about Ripley calling her out during a recent appearance on the Not Sam Wrestling Podcast by Sam Roberts with Belair saying she thought it would make a great WrestleMania match:

“I feel the same way. Anytime Rhea Ripley and I get in the ring, we always make magic. I feel like we did some amazing things in NXT together. Then we came up on SmackDown and we’ve been on both sides of some amazing things, on opposite sides of this mountain top trying to reach the top. That would be amazing. I’ve always considered Rhea Ripley and I a WrestleMania match, a feud that can go down in history as one of the best feuds that the women have had. I would love to have a WrestleMania match with Rhea.”

It was also mentioned by Belair that she wants to face and beat Charlotte Flair as well.

“That’s a dream match of mine to have at WrestleMania, but I will say that I still have my goal of taking down all four Horsewomen. So, I still have Charlotte Flair that I need to take down. Whether it’s Charlotte or Rhea, I have so many WrestleMania matches that I still want to have, but Rhea Ripley is definitely at the top of the list. She’s showing out right now on RAW, so when we crossed paths last week, I was like, I knew this was coming. We’ll see what happens.”

While it’s unknown when Belair might get a chance to wrestle Charlotte Flair, Belair will be in the same ring as Ripley this Saturday night at Survivor Series when they are part of the women’s WarGames match.
