Bianca Belair Excited For Becky Lynch Despite WWE Exit

Bianca Belair WWE Hug

Bianca Belair has shared a lot of moments in a ring with Becky Lynch and recently spoke about what the WWE legend means to her.

There has been a lot of WWE contract news in 2024 with several big names re-signing with the company like Seth Rollins, Drew McIntyre, and Damian Priest to name a few while others have deals that are expiring soon.

Perhaps the biggest WWE contract news of all involved former seven-time WWE Women’s Champion Becky Lynch, whose deal expired at the start of June and she has not agreed to any sort of deal. It is believed that Lynch will be taking a long break from WWE.

While most people are expecting Lynch to come back to WWE since she has been there for over a decade and is married to Seth Rollins, there are no guarantees in wrestling. For now, Lynch is not a part of the company and it’s not known when she will return.

Bianca Belair has a long history with Lynch going back to when Lynch beat Belair in under 30 seconds at SummerSlam 2021. That led to Belair getting her Raw Women’s Title back at WrestleMania 38 in 2022 in a fantastic match.

In an interview with Denise Salcedo of Instinct Culture, Belair praised Lynch for helping her a lot in her career while discussing her excitement.

“Yeah, you know, I’m just super supportive of Becky of whatever space she’s in right now with what she wants to do. Everyone knows how pivotal Becky was for my career, but not just inside the ring but outside the ring, she’s someone that I’ve always been able to go to and lean on just for advice and just as a friend. I would say that I would call Becky my friend.”

“She’s someone who has stood up for me, who has led me, who has taught me. We see everything that Becky has done for this division and for the women’s division, being one of the four horse women, being one of the women that has main evented WrestleMania. If you read her book, you saw what her goal was to turn this women’s division and I think that she was a huge part of that.”

“She’s so just inspiring and what she’s done with her title as a NXT champion and what she did for those women down there, what she’s done with Liv Morgan in the ring, what she’s done just in general. She’s not a legend in the making, she’s a legend and I love when Becky is here in WWE.”

I’m just super excited for her with whatever she wants to do right now. I think that she’s the goat, I think that she’s going to be in the hall of fame one day for sure, I don’t see that time coming anytime soon. but no, just super excited for her where she’s at.”

Bianca Belair Set For Tag Team Match At WWE Clash At The Castle

As one-half of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions with Jade Cargill, Bianca Belair constantly has a target on her back. At Clash at the Castle on June 15th, the champions Belair & Cargill must defend their titles against two teams: Shayna Baszler & Zoey Stark and also the Unholy Alliance duo of Alba Fyre & Isla Dawn.

Thus far, Belair & Cargill have been a dominant team, but there is risk with a triple threat match because they could lose the titles without being pinned.

You can watch WWE Clash at the Castle, streaming live Saturday, June 15, at 2 p.m. ET/11 a.m. PT on Peacock in the United States and on WWE Network everywhere else.
