Becky Lynch Pokes Fun At Fans As Seth Rollins Wins Big At WWE SummerSlam

Becky Lynch is having fun.

At SummerSlam, Seth Rollins shocked the world one more time, ending the night as the new World Heavyweight Champion.

In the minutes after CM Punk had beaten Gunther to claim the title, Rollins made a surprise appearance to cash in his Money In The Bank contract. Rollins had claimed he was dealing with an injury suffered at Saturday Night’s Main Event, but he threw down his crutches and knee brace before taking out Punk.

In the weeks following Saturday Night’s Main Event, Becky Lynch shared a video of Rollins on crutches, playing up the injury.

Following her husband’s “miraculous” recovery, Lynch had some fun at fans’ expense on social media. While being filmed backstage, she mocked those who believed her misleading video, telling people not to believe everything they see on the internet.

What Next For Becky Lynch?

The Man will be hoping SummerSlam 2025 is a double celebration for the Lynch/Rollins household as she defends the Women’s Intercontinental Championship against Lyra Valkyria. If Becky Lynch wins, Valkyria will be unable to challenge for the title again while she’s champion.

The pair have been locked in a heated rivalry since the Raw after WrestleMania. At the spectacular, Lynch teamed with Valkyria to win the Women’s Tag Team Championship, but turned on her just 24 hours later after they lost the gold.

Lynch beat Valkyria to claim the Intercontinental Championship at Money In The Bank.
