Becky Lynch Demands Immediate WWE Action After CM Punk’s “Desecrating” Act

Becky Lynch left the Elimination Chamber as an unhappy camper.

‘The Man’ went into her match with a massive advantage over her opponent, AJ Lee, who had not challenged for a WWE championship in over a decade.

Since returning to the Stamford promotion on September 5 last year, Lee had been breathing down Lynch’s neck by making her presence felt at crucial junctures.

At one point, she even cost Lynch her Women’s Intercontinental Championship, which she had held for 163 days, to Maxxine Dupri.

Becky Lynch, however, managed to reclaim the title, ultimately reigniting her feud with AJ Lee, which culminated in a Women’s Intercontinental Championship match on Saturday.

While the Lasskicker dominated the bout, Lee managed to turn it around after referee Jessika Carr got taken out mid-match.

Lynch accidentally ran into an exposed turnbuckle, following which Lee applied her Black Widow submission on the champion, causing her to tapout.

Becky Lynch Calls On WWE For Action Against CM Punk

Contrary to Becky Lynch, CM Punk enjoyed a pleasant night in his hometown of Chicago after retaining his World Heavyweight Championship against Finn Balor.

After his match, his wife, AJ Lee, ran down to the ring as they both celebrated with their titles.

While Lynch may have been upset over her title loss, what followed after the event led to her crashing out.

CM Punk shared an Instagram post containing a picture of himself, although he was wearing both his championship belt and AJ Lee’s title around him.

An irate Becky Lynch accused him of desecrating the women’s title while calling on WWE for strict action against the men’s champion.
