Major Update On Bad Bunny Possibly Having Another WWE Match
Bad Bunny was recently in the news for his political message during the Grammy Awards.
But even before that, he was turning heads with more than just music.
A lifelong fan of professional wrestling, the musician has made several appearances during live shows, even getting three matches under his belt between 2021 and 2023.
His in-ring debut was at WrestleMania 37, where he teamed up with Damian Priest to defeat The Miz and John Morrison.
He followed it up by making a Royal Rumble appearance during the 2022 event, entering as the #27 participant. He lasted under 8 minutes before being eliminated by the eventual winner, Brock Lesnar. He also eliminated Dolph Ziggler and Sheamus.
Bad Bunny’s last bout was a San Juan Street Fight match against Damian Priest at WWE Backlash in 2023, which he won.
WWE Has Internally Discussed Bad Bunny
While Bad Bunny’s politically-charged comments may have rubbed some people off, he is definitely not in the bad books of WWE.
During a recent Wrestling Observer Live session, Bryan Alvarez claimed that the 31-year-old could be seen back in the Stamford promotion sooner than later.
While speaking on an episode of his IMPAULSIVE podcast, Logan Paul, too, admitted that Bunny’s name had been mentioned in passing.
Later, Wrestlevotes Radio on Fightful Select revealed that WWE and the musician’s representatives had been in touch well before his Super Bowl performance, possibly with the idea of him attending WrestleMania 42 in some capacity.
Bad Bunny is surely a crowd-puller, and including him in a storyline with someone like Logan Paul could attract a lot of eyeballs.
