Austin Theory Names Two WWE Stars That Have Helped Him A Lot
Austin Theory has named two veterans on the WWE roster that have really helped him in terms of offering advice whenever he needs it.
When Austin Theory is introduced to the WWE Universe, it is always mentioned that he is the youngest United States Champion in WWE history. Theory has held the US Title twice in his career and at 25 years old, he has an extremely bright future.
Two weeks from now, Austin Theory will have the biggest match of his WWE career with the US Title on the line as he defends against a man many people believe to be the “Greatest of All Time” John Cena. The match was set up on the March 6th edition of Raw in Boston with Cena telling Theory that he wasn’t ready for this. Theory, as usual, showed a lot of confidence during the promo exchange with Cena.
In an interview on WWE’s After the Bell podcast with Corey Graves & Kevin Patrick, Austin Theory named WWE stars MVP (Montel Vontavious Porter) and Jey Uso as two veterans that have been helpful on his WWE journey so far.
“I would say usually two people that I really like to mention is Jey Uso and MVP. There’s definitely some others but Jey Uso, specifically man, somebody that since the beginning, when I got pulled up and I started doing the dark matches. I would say it was around a year ago, or maybe two years ago, but I started doing the dark matches and then eventually got on the main roster and then everything kind of took off.”
“But even to this day, you know, this past Monday, like passing him in the hall, you know, he’s like good stuff out there. Like always keeping an eye and even if I don’t see him, I’ll always message him like, like, what do you think, you know, and he’s always just, he’s a veteran of the game. He’s been there for a long, long time. So it’s always good to have somebody like that to help.”
Austin Theory was victorious during his most recent TV match on Raw against Angelo Dawkins last week. Next week, he’ll face Montez Ford in singles action.
