Andrade Makes Declaration After WWE Return
Andrade is optimistic about his WWE future after returning to the company at the Royal Rumble.
At the 2024 WWE Royal Rumble, Andrade entered the match as the fourth entrant. While the former US Champion failed to eliminate anybody in the match, he did last 22:59 before being eliminated by Bronson Reed.
The WWE return of Andrade wasn’t a surprise since it was reported that he was leaving AEW about a month earlier. Andrade was released by WWE back in March 2021 and went to work for WWE a few months later. At that time, Vince McMahon was running WWE and not using Andrade well. By July 2022, Triple H was in charge of WWE’s creative team and there were reports that Andrade wanted to go back.
In a WWE digital exclusive video, Andrade made it clear he was happy to be back in WWE.
“How do I feel? Happy. Happy to be here, to be back. I need to leave to remember who I was. So now I am back, I know who I am. Now, nobody’s stopping me.”
Charlotte Flair On Hand For Andrade’s WWE Return
Andrade’s return to WWE means he is back to wrestling for the company where his wife Charlotte Flair works. Unfortunately, Charlotte suffered a torn ACL in late December, had surgery in January, and will miss most of the year while doing rehab for the knee injury.
In a video posted on social media that was retweeted by Charlotte, she can be seen spraying something on her husband’s body to get him ready for the Royal Rumble match.

Andrade and Charlotte were married in May 2022 after meeting in WWE and dating for a few years.
