Alexa Bliss educated a fan on social media who criticized her performance on WWE SmackDown.

The women’s division on WWE SmackDown has been heating up of late, with several women going after the WWE Women’s Title held by Rhea Ripley, and several tag teams emerging and hoping for a future shot at the Women’s Tag Team Titles.

In the opening segment of WWE SmackDown in Barcelona, Jade Cargill (joined by Michin and B-Fab) was bragging about her greatness while also taking a shot at her Clash in Italy opponent, Rhea Ripley.

After Cargill and Ripley exchanged words, the tag team of Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss arrived to support Ripley. Words were exchanged, and Bliss was put into a match with Cargill.

Late in the match, Cargill’s buddy Michin tripped up Bliss while Jade distracted the referee, so Flair and Ripley fought with B-Fab and Michin to the back. Bliss kicked Jade in the knee and hit a DDT. Bliss went up top and went for Twisted Bliss, but Jade got the knees up. Jade hit a pump kick and Jaded for the pinfall win.

Following the match, Jade hit Jaded on Bliss onto a steel chair. Bliss put her hands out to take the bump, so it was more like her elbows hitting the chair. Ripley and Flair ran back into the ring to check on Bliss while Jade left.

In a backstage segment, Bliss was shown applying ice to her forehead while Flair checked on her.

When an obnoxious fan on X/Twitter criticized Bliss for applying ice to her head after the in-ring incident, Bliss responded.

Alexa Bliss Has Helped Change Charlotte Flair

The team of Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair goes way back to their NXT days over a decade ago. On the main roster, Flair has 14 Women’s Titles, and Bliss has 5 Women’s Titles, so they’ve been very successful on their own.

For the past year, Bliss and Flair have been a top women’s tag team in WWE and even held the Women’s Tag Team Titles in 2025.

WWE Hall of Famer Bubba Ray Dudley (aka Bully Ray) made the point in the past that Flair has benefited from teaming with Bliss in part because of how well-liked Bliss is by WWE fans.

“Charlotte has got the rub from Alexa when it comes to how the fans perceive Charlotte.

“Whether we feel a certain way about Charlotte and her being synonymous with gold or not, the fanbase was tired of Charlotte being in the title scene, so tired that the whole program with Tiffany did not work.

“Now they get Charlotte out of a picture and put her with a beloved Alexa Bliss, and all of a sudden, how does an audience go from ‘we hate you’ to ‘wow we really like you’. That basically happened over night.

“It’s because since we love Alexa so much, and because Alexa was involved with Bray, and Bray is no longer with us. Since we accept Alexa, and we love Alexa, if Alexa is friends with you, then we like you too.

“Something is also going on with Charlotte that hasn’t happened with her in a long, long time; she’s having fun. I would keep Charlotte Flair out of the World Championship picture for so long that the people want to see her come back.”

It was a rough week for Alexa Bliss since she lost to Cargill on SmackDown, and her team with Ripley and Flair lost to Cargill, Michin & B-Fab at Saturday Night’s Main Event as well. Bliss is likely hoping to pick up some wins soon.
