A WWE legend has revealed a scary incident involving Vince McMahon.

Vince McMahon is one of the most well-known figures in the world of professional wrestling. He is responsible for bringing wrestling into the global limelight. McMahon is also known for being a controversial individual.

Vince was the Chairman of WWE for several years. During this time, he was involved in several controversies, but he managed to come out on top. During his time, WWE owned a corporate jet that Vince would always use. There were also several WWE stars who got to use the jet on certain occasions. This old corporate jet is now on the market for $10.5 million. Hence, JBL narrated an insane story that took place on that jet involving Vince McMahon and a pilot who didn’t want to land.

JBL revealed how Vince McMahon’s fearlessness almost got him k**led.

Speaking on his Something to Wrestle podcast, JBL revealed the incident took place when they were flying into New York in bad weather. The pilot came back and told Vince that he could not fly in this weather.

“The pilot comes back and tells Vince, he goes, Vince, look, I’m fearless. I’ve flown sorties in Iraq. He goes, I don’t have any fear. He goes, but I would not fly in this weather. He goes, this is bad,” JBL said. “And Vince, without even blinking, looks at me. Goes, so when you get that uniform, do you lose your b**ls? Like, holy s*it, we’re gonna d*e.”

Vince McMahon then asked JBL and Dusty Rhodes for their opinions, and both of them were ready to land. Brian Gewirtz, who was also present, wondered why Vince was asking wrestlers to give their opinion about landing in such a situation.

“Brian Gewirtz is there. He goes, why is Vince arguing with the pilot? So Vince looks at me and says, Big John, what would you do? Well, Vince is gonna do whatever he wants anyway. I’m not gonna go down like a coward. So I said, Vince, I’ve had a good life. Let’s give it a shot,” JBL said. “Vince goes, well, there you go. He goes, Dusty, what about you? Dusty goes, let’s go, baby. Brian Gewirtz is like, why are you asking wrestlers their opinion about flying in an unsafe condition?”

The plane finally landed in Westchester. JBL claimed that they almost d**d that night.

“We landed at Westchester. We were coming down, storm, storm, storm. Can’t see nothing. All of a sudden, land, bam, hit, and we’re down. Like, holy s*it, we almost d**d. I don’t know if we did or not. I don’t want to exaggerate, because it was pretty bad,” JBL said. “The pilot goes back, goes, that was the roughest landing I’ve ever had. Vince says, I told you, and that was it. Vince was fearless.” [H/T WrestlingNewsCo]

It’s a good thing that the flight landed safely that night.
