In November last year, AJ Styles made a strange confession.

While speaking on the Inside The Ropes podcast, the conversation drifted to his hair, something he claimed his wife was not a fan of.

He went on to claim that once he is retired, he might chop off his locks, even shave his head while at it.

According to my wife, it’s going to be cut soon. Like, it’s getting way too long and she doesn’t like it. So she’s repeatedly telling me I’m going to have to cut a couple inches off — which is fine. Not cut it all off now.

But when retirement finally comes, that will be the first thing that goes… probably the hair.

AJ Styles has been retired since his loss to Gunther at the Royal Rumble in January, but has preserved his hairstyle, as evidenced by his appearance on the February 23 taping of Raw.

The topic again took center stage weeks before The Phenomenal One is set to enter the WWE Hall of Fame.

AJ Styles Changed His Mind About Shaving His Head

AJ Styles will officially enter the WWE Hall of Fame on April 17, a day prior to the 2-day extravaganza called WrestleMania.

During a recent appearance on The Phenomenally Retro Podcast, Styles was asked whether his plan to shave his head was still intact.

In reply, he claimed that he had gone back-and-forth, but may have finally decided against it.

I don’t know — I’ve gone back and forth about it. I don’t know what kind of haircut to get. And honestly, it’s kind of nice not having to go in every two weeks and get a haircut. [H/T: Ringside News]
