AJ Lee Breaks Character To Address Real Feelings Towards Becky Lynch

AJ Lee returned to WWE in September 2025 for the first time in over a decade.

Her comeback was due to weeks of insults and abuses hurled towards her husband, CM Punk, by Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins.

After arriving, she immediately attacked Lynch, which set up a match between the couples at the Wrestlepalooza PLE later that month.

The mixed tag team match was highly entertaining, producing sneak attacks, table spots, and intergender fights, which is uncommon in the company today.

In the end, it was the babyface duo of Punk and Lee who secured the win when Lee applied her Black Widow submission to make ‘The Man’ tap out.

A few months later, AJ Lee again made her presence felt during a match involving Becky Lynch.

On the November 17 episode of Raw, Lynch defended her Women’s Intercontinental Championship against Maxxine Dupree, which was their third fight in two months.

As Becky tried exposing the top turnbuckle, Lee came out, causing a distraction for the champion. Dupri then hit a crossbody on her for the victory and title change.

AJ Lee and CM Punk recently appeared on Hot Ones Versus.

The YouTube show requires participants to answer deeply personal questions or eat wings with the hottest sauces.

One of the questions she addressed was naming her Mount Rushmore of female superstars. She had to name six superstars.

She named Chyna, Lita, Beth Phoenix, Mickie James, herself, and Bayley.

Lee then went to name a few wrestlers from the current generation, such as Lyra Valkyria, Roxanne Perez, Rhea Ripley, Jade Cargill, and Becky Lynch.
