One AEW Star Will Be On Cody Rhodes’ Level If They Join WWE
Tony Khan has many talented wrestlers in his AEW roster, but one of the names that stands out from all is MJF.
In a recent interview with Ross Tucker’s YouTube podcast, Friedman revealed that WWE had approached him with a contract offer, but he turned it down because he believed in AEW’s mission statement
Speaking on a recent edition of The Coach and Bro Show, WWE veteran Tommy Carlucci said that if MJF were to ever jump ship to WWE, he could be on the same level as Cody Rhodes.
He’s got it all. And if he ever comes on into the WWE, he will be Cody Rhodes’ level. They will build him to Cody Rhodes’ level. I always think about him all the time because I really like MJF. It’s about time they strap on the title of him and just let him fly. But there’s just different ways the way Tony Khan does things that I don’t get sometimes.
MJF Has Cody Rhodes’ Level Potential
Big Tommy C added that while MJF is not currently at Cody Rhodes’ level, he clearly has the potential to reach it if he is “marketed the right way.”
And I still don’t think he’s on the same level as Cody. He’s the champ there, but he’s nowhere near where Cody is right now. He could be if he’s done marketed right and his storylines are right and everything. He could be because he’s got it all. (From 1:07:45)
MJF also recently appeared on You Better You Bet, where he stated that he feels he is currently on the best run of his career. He credited his success to consistency, explaining that staying consistent over the years has been the key reason for him becoming one of the best in the business.
