Why AEW’s MJF Feels This Is The Best Run Of His Career
MJF claims he is in the best run of his wrestling career.
The AEW star started his wrestling journey in 2015 at the young age of 18. Since then, he has won several titles across multiple promotions and has established himself as a top name in the wrestling world.
The current AEW World Champion recently appeared on You Better You Bet, where he claimed that he is on the best run of his career.
MJF stated that one of the biggest reasons for his immense success in the wrestling world is his consistency, adding that he has been consistent since he was 19 years old, when he first started appearing on national television.
“It’s not because I’m not great. Of course I’m great. It’s because I just feel like I have more runway. And right now, people are talking about me in the same reverence as some of the all-time greats. And I think the reason why that’s happening is because of consistency. Consistency is key.”
“I have been on national television since I was 19 years old professional wrestling. First, I worked for Major League Wrestling on beIN Sports. And now I’m on Warner Brothers Discovery television, and I have been since I was 23 years old.”
MJF Will Wrestle For 30 More Years
MJF added that he is already the best and that he has not even reached his prime yet. He believes that by the time he reaches his prime, he will be unstoppable in the industry. He also hinted at how long he plans to wrestle, suggesting a potential retirement after another 30 years in the business.
And I can say beyond a shadow of a doubt, this is the best I’ve ever been. We’ve not even reached my prime; I’m not even 30 yet. I’m terrified for everybody. I’ve got a good 30 more years left in this industry, and we’re just getting started.”
MJF will turn 30 on March 15 this year.
