AEW Plans For Darby Allin After Sting’s Exit Revealed

Darby Allin AEW

Darby Allin is no longer an AEW Tag Team Champion after Revolution but the star is ready for big business as a major singles match has been announced.

Sting and Darby Allin headed into Revolution undefeated as a team and as AEW Tag Team Champions. Sting put a bow on his legendary career with a major win as The Icon tapped out Matt Jackson to ensure that he’d retire undefeated in AEW.

But with Sting now a former AEW star, Tony Khan confirmed that the AEW Tag Team Championship is now vacant with a tournament set to be held to crown new champions.

For Darby Allin, however, life goes on and at the post-Revolution media scrum, Tony Khan announced that Darby Allin will face current ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Champion Jay White on the Big Business edition of Dynamite on March 13th.

Darby Allin Is Not The Only Star Set For AEW Big Business

AEW Dynamite Big Business will take place in Boston, Massachusetts, and is set to play host to one of the biggest debuts in company history.

Mercedes Mone is believed to be making her long-awaited debut for AEW in her hometown but it might not be the only big arrival in the company. Former IWGP Heavyweight Champion Kazuchika Okada is rumoured to be heading to AEW but it remains to be seen exactly when the Japanese star will arrive.
