AEW Star Not Suspended Despite Dynasty Backlash

An AEW wrestler is really not suspended by the company despite what they wrote on social media.

At AEW Dynasty in St. Louis, there was a high stakes match on the Zero Hour Pre-Show as The Acclaimed (Max Caster & Anthony Bowens) teamed up with Billy Gunn to put the AEW Trios Tag Team Titles on the line against ROH Trios Tag Team Champions Jay White and The Gunns (Colten & Austin Gunn), who are known as Bullet Club Gold.

It was a Winner Take All match designed to unify the two Trios Tag Team Titles into one. The match was eventually won by Bullet Club Gold when White pinned Billy Gunn after hitting his Bladerunner finisher.

Something got a lot of attention before the match was Max Caster’s rap before the match. Caster is known for being somewhat controversial during his pre-match raps and that happened again before Dynasty went on the air. Here’s part of what Caster said.

“Switchblade’s what I switch. I’ll fulfill your fantasy and I’ll make you my b****. Yo this dude’s just making me sick. I’ll violate you so bad you’ll have to tell the legal team about the taste of my d***.”

Following the rap, Max Caster went on X/Twitter to reply to a fan by writing: “I am suspended.”

Seeing that it’s social media and there is no way to detect sarcasm based on text, fans bought what Caster was selling in terms of saying he was suspended.

However, it was reported by Fightful Select that Caster was not suspended and will be in action on AEW television later tonight.

Who Will The Acclaimed Face On AEW Collision?

AEW Collision takes place on Saturday after the NBA Playoffs on TNT at some point after 8 p.m. followed by a one hour episode of Rampage. It’s a three hour block of AEW content on a Saturday night.

On AEW Collision, The Acclaimed team of Max Caster & Anthony Bowens will be facing off against the Grizzled Young Veterans team of Zach Gibson & James Drame. The GYV guys are well known from their run on the WWE NXT brand and recently with TNA Wrestling as well.
