AEW News: Bonus Footage from This Week’s Dynamite Episode, New Match Added to Full Gear on Nov. 9

TJR Wrestling

There was a video posted yesterday by All Elite Wrestling that featured some post-Dynamite action. If you saw Dynamite or read my review, then you know Dynamite ended in a TV time limit draw between Jon Moxley and Pac. After the match, Moxley gave the Paradigm Shift (double arm DDT) to the referee and ended the show ranting about what happened. The fans booed because they don’t like a draw finish.

In the exclusive post show footage, Pac attacked Moxley with a forearm to the back and he stomped on him. Pac grabbed a chair from under the ring. Pac placed the chair around the neck of Moxley, then Pac went to the middle ropes and Kenny Omega made the save even though he’s facing Moxley at Full Gear on November 9. When Omega entered the ring, Pac left. Omega removed the chair from Moxley’s body and Jim Ross correctly said that Omega was returning the favor from when Moxley refused to attack Omega when he was down. It was also mentioned by announcer Excalibur that Omega wanted Moxley at his best.

Pac got back up, he tried to attack both guys, but they kicked him and Omega/Moxley did a double clothesline to send Pac over the top to the floor. That led to Omega and Moxley having a staredown in the ring.

When Pac went up the ramp, he walked back right into “Hangman” Adam Page, who he has had issues with in the past.

Pac bumped into Page, then fell down, Page walked down to the ring to face off with Pac and then Pac jumped the barricade to escape through the crowd. Moxley left the ring at that point.

That led to “Hangman” Adam Page going into the ring with Omega, who is an ally. Page said that Pac is a big man when he’s got a chair in his hands and when somebody’s back is turned, but he doesn’t look so big now. Page said Pac didn’t look so big in DC when he had to kick Page in the balls to beat him or last week when Page pinned his ass. Page said he needs a rematch, but he’s not asking…he’s telling him November 9th at Full Gear it’s “The Bastard” Pac vs. “The Hangman” Adam Page with Page saying he will “buckshot” Pac’s damn head off.

There was a plug for the Full Gear main matches and that was the end of the video.

Analysis: I think it’s fine to have some bonus footage on Youtube after the show. The challenge from Page makes sense since he talked about how Pac had to cheat to beat him, then Page beat him in the tag team match last week (after Moxley left) and now they can settle their differences at Full Gear. It sounds good to me.

I also like the way Moxley vs. Omega has been build with each guy refusing to do a cheap attack even though they both had the chance to do it in the past.

The lineup for AEW Full Gear on Saturday, November 9 looks like this:

AEW World Championship: Chris Jericho (c) vs. Cody

Jon Moxley vs. Kenny Omega

The Young Bucks vs. Santana and Ortiz

“Hangman” Adam Page vs. “The Bastard” Pac
