AEW Make A Trio Of Full Time Signings

AEW

AEW has increased its roster with three people who recently debuted on television and are now reported to have been signed to full-time deals.

On the October 14th, 2022 edition of AEW Rampage FTR and Shawn Spears picked up a big win over The Embassy. However, with so many championships around the waists and shoulders of FTR, trouble is never far away.

Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler were soon confronted by former Ring of Honor and IMPACT Wrestling trio Matt Taven, Mike Bennett, and Maria Kanellis-Bennett. The Kingdom – as Kanellis-Bennett introduced them – made clear their intention to take back the ROH Tag Team Championship before joining The Embassy in attacking FTR. The villains of the piece were soon run out of the ring by the combined forces of WarJoe.

Fightful Select has now reported that The Kingdom were not officially signed when they debuted in AEW but that has since changed. All three members of the group are said to have signed “multi-year contracts” with the company.

The team recently finished up a stint for IMPACT Wrestling as part of the Honor No More stable. In their final match with the company, they lost the IMPACT Tag Team Championship to Heath and Rhino in a match that was taped before the AEW debut but aired afterward.

AEW has frequently announced signings with their “All Elite’ graphics but recent reports have indicated this may no longer always be the case with a former WWE star also said to have signed a deal with the promotion.
