AEW Full Gear Title Match Gets New Stipulation

The AEW Tag Team Champions have chosen a stipulation for their huge title match at Full Gear.

During a special Friday night episode of AEW Collision, the AEW Tag Team Champions Ricky Starks & Big Bill announced that there would be a special stipulation for the four-way match at Full Gear for the coveted titles.

It’s a match that will see Starks & Bil defend the gold against La Facción Ingobernable (Rush and Dralístico), FTR (Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood) and Kings of The Black Throne (Malakai Black and Brody King).

On Collision, Big Bill complained about how in a four-way match, they could lose the titles by pinfall or submission without being involved in the fall. They didn’t like that, so Starks spoke to AEW’s Owner Tony Khan about adding a stipulation.

Starks announced that the stipulation is a Ladder Match because it was mentioned by Starks that it would just be a short climb up the ladder for his 7-foot partner Big Bill to reach the titles above the ring.

How Many Championship Matches Will There Be At AEW Full Gear?

AEW Full Gear takes place on Saturday, November 18th at the KIA Forum in Los Angeles with a total of 11 matches announced. Eight of those matches will take place on the main show while three matches will be on the “Zero Hour” pre-show.

As things currently stand, seven of the matches will be for championships including the aforementioned Ladder Match for the AEW Tag Team Titles.

* Texas Death Match: “Hangman” Adam Page vs. Swerve Strickland

* The Young Bucks – Matt & Nick Jackson vs. The Golden Jets – Kenny Omega & Chris Jericho

* AEW World Tag Team Championships Ladder Match: Ricky Starks and Big Bill (c) vs. La Facción Ingobernable (Rush and Dralístico) (with José the Assistant) vs. FTR (Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood) vs. Kings of The Black Throne (Malakai Black and Brody King)

* TBS Championship: Kris Statlander (c) vs. Julia Hart vs. Skye Blue

* ROH Tag Team Championships: Maxwell Jacob Friedman & Samoa Joe (c) vs. The Gunns – Colten & Austin Gunn (Pre-Show)
