The final episode of AEW Dynamite in 2022 has a loaded card including a major title match along with Bryan Danielson facing Ethan Page in singles action.

All Elite Wrestling will air its final episode of Dynamite tonight from the 1st Bank Center in Broomfield, Colorado at 8pm ET/7pm CT on TBS in the US. There will also be a taping of AEW Rampage, which air on Friday, December 30th at 10pm ET on TNT. AEW is calling it their “New Year’s Smash” show since New Year’s Day is coming on Sunday.

One of the big matches will the be TNT Title match with Samoa Joe defending the gold against the former champion Wardlow. At AEW Full Gear, Joe won the TNT Title in a triple threat match with Wardlow that also included Powerhouse Hobbs. Joe pinned Hobbs in that match, so Wardlow has been wanting that title rematch since then and tonight he gets that shot. Samoa Joe is also the ROH TV Champion, but that title will not be on the line on Dynamite.

The sixth match in the Best of Seven Series between AEW Trios Tag Team Champions Death Triangle (Pac, Rey Fenix & Penta) and The Elite (Kenny Omega, Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson) will take place in a Falls Count Anywhere match. Death Triangle currently leads the series 3-2 after The Elite picked up the win last week on Dynamite.

If The Elite wins that match then the seventh match in the Best of Seven Series would take place on the January 11th edition of Dynamite in a Ladder Match. The winners of the Best of Seven Series will be the AEW Trios Tag Team Champions.

Bryan Danielson will be in singles action against Ethan Page after they set up that match up recently. Danielson has his eyes on the AEW World Champion Maxwell Jacob Friedman,

There’s also a tag team match with the Blackpool Combat Club’s Jon Moxley & ROH World Champion Claudio Castagnoli facing the brother tag team known as Top Flight (Darius & Dante Martin).

The lone women’s match advertised for Dynamite will see Ruby Soho team up with Willow Nightingale against Jericho Appreciation Society members Tay Melo & Anna Jay (A.S.) in tag team action.

As always, Dynamite will likely feature several interviews and segments to set up matches for the future, including this Friday’s AEW Rampage. AEW Owner/President/GM Tony Khan believes it is a stacked lineup.
