Adam Copeland Delivers Message Ahead Of Huge AEW Dynamite Match

Adam Copeland speaking to Christian Cage in AEW

Adam Copeland has a warning for Christian Cage going into their huge TNT Title match in their home country of Canada.

The TNT Title will be on the line on the Wednesday, December 6th episode of AEW Dynamite for the company’s debut in Montreal. It’s a very personal matchup between the TNT Champion Christian Cage and his lifelong best friend Christian Cage.

It is well-known among wrestling fans that the two men are as close as brothers. When they were first introduced in WWE as Edge & Christian they were billed as brothers until the company slowly stopped saying that and instead mentioned their friendship.

Since Adam Copeland joined AEW in October 2023 at WrestleDream after his WWE contract came to an end, he made it clear he wanted to work with his best friend again. Copeland wanted to reform their legendary tag team, but Christian is a bit of an egomaniac at this point, so instead of a best friend alliance, they have been at odds.

Adam Copeland Issues A Strong Statement For Christian Cage

The two men grew up near the Toronto area and will get to have their first match in AEW in another major Canadian city of Montreal. As noted by Adam Copeland in a message on X/Twitter, it’s their first title match in 22 years and their first match against each other in 13 years.

For 40 years we’ve been through everything together. Triumphs. Losses. Births. Deaths. Forced retirements. Wednesday on @aew Dynamite we face each for the first time in 13 years. We haven’t wrestled each other for a title in 22 years. The TNT Championship. After both being told we’d never do this again. In Canada. Main Event. Bring it Montreal. I will. #copevscage

Find out on Wednesday, December 4th on AEW Dynamite from Montreal if Adam Copeland will be able to take the TNT Title from Christian Cage.
