Massive Shot Fired At Adam Copeland (Fka Edge) During WWE RAW
This week’s episode of Raw took place at the Accor Arena in Paris, France, and during the show, a popular star fired a massive shot at WWE legend Adam Copeland (Edge).
The main event of the June 8 edition of Monday Night Raw featured a first-round match in the King of the Ring 2026 tournament between Ricky Saints, Je’Von Evans, Seth Rollins, and Talla Tonga.
Ahead of the match, Byron Saxton caught up with Ricky Saints for an interview. Saxton asked Saints if he had “an edge” in the match. Responding to the question, Ricky Saints appeared to take a subtle shot at the WWE legend.
“An edge? Don’t talk to me about an edge,” said Ricky.
“AN EDGE, DONT TALK TO ME ABOUT AN EDGE”

Ricky Saints, formerly known as Ricky Starks in AEW, had real-life issues with Adam Copeland during his time in Tony Khan’s company.
Their rivalry erupted during a promo on the October 14, 2023, episode of AEW Collision, when Starks mocked Copeland over his age and appearance. Copeland later fired back by referring to Starks as a “vanilla midget” version of The Rock.
Why Does Ricky Saints Feel Pressure In WWE
Ricky Saints left AEW in February 2025 and shortly later joined WWE in the same month. Since arriving in the Stamford-based promotion, he has experienced excellent growth and established himself as one of the company’s rising stars.
However, Saints has admitted that he still feels pressure in WWE due to his past association with AEW and the expectations that come with making the jump from a rival promotion.
…Every day I got pressure even before I had the championship. I am a guy that came from somewhere else, and there’s people that look at me differently because I am a champion… There can’t be any holes in my game at all.
He made these comments in 2025 when he was the NXT Champion. He was drafted to SmackDown in April 2026.
