A second-generation star made his return to AEW TV on the latest edition of Collision after a nine-month absence due to injury.

The Bang Bang Gang is now officially back at full strength after the group dealt with its fair share of injuries. The faction, currently consisting of Juice Robinson and Ace Austin, defeated the Death Riders’ Wheeler Yuta and Daniel Garcia in a tag team match on tonight’s AEW Collision.

However, the post-match celebration was short-lived when Garcia, Yuta, and Jon Moxley launched a brutal assault on the victorious Bang Bang Gang members. As the numbers game began to overwhelm Robinson and Austin, familiar music cut through the attack, and The Gunns arrived to make the save.

The Gunns reunited on AEW Collision tonight

Colten Gunn made his return to AEW programming on the May 2 edition of Collision, nine months after suffering a knee injury that kept him off television throughout most of 2025.

The Gunns hit the ring together for the first time since Colten’s injury and ran off the Death Riders. Austin and Colten Gunn stood alongside Robinson and Austin in the ring, solidifying the reunion of the beloved faction.

Billy Gunn had publicly confirmed his son’s medical clearance in the days leading up to Collision, which took some of the surprise out of the moment, but the live execution still landed.

The Gunns have held two AEW Tag Team Championship reigns, and Colten’s absence clearly disrupted the group’s momentum when The Bang Bang Gang needed all its members.

Now that the group has reunited, it remains to be seen whether they go after the Death Riders.
