Music composer Mikey Rukus is working on a new theme song for these AEW stars.

A wrestler’s entrance music is crucial in building up to matches and is something that gets the crowd hyped for the star. Longtime in-house composer for the Tony Khan-led promotion, Mikey Rukus, who is responsible for most of the AEW wrestlers’ entrance themes (“Battle Cry”-Kenny Omega, “Arrical”-Sting, etc.), is currently working on a new theme for two of the company’s stars.

The stars in question are Hyan and Maya World. When fans asked Rukus on X if he’s working on new music for the pair, he responded with a prompt “Yes”.

AEW Collision also has a new theme song now, and more themes are reportedly in development.

AEW’s Hyan and Maya World Are An Up-And-Coming Tag Team

Hyan and Maya World have been a team since November 2025 and have recently renewed their contracts.

Maya World first appeared with the Jacksonville-based promotion in July 2024, and Hyan in June 2021. Despite multiple appearances, the pair is still looking to bag their first tag team victory.

Their most memorable outing to date came on the Worlds End Zero Hour pre-show in December 2025, where they faced Julia Hart and Skye Blue as the Sisters of Sin. Hyan has also previously challenged for the Ring of Honor (AEW’s sister company) ROH Women’s World Championship against Mercedes Martinez.

A change in entrance music can help shape the identity and build momentum for up-and-coming teams. It remains to be seen how things pan out for the tag team of Hyan and Maya World.
