News: WWE Officially Announces SummerSlam Will Take Place at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on Saturday, August 21

It’s going to be a stadium show for WWE SummerSlam and as rumored, the location will be Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada. The venue is the home of the Las Vegas of the National Football League. The announcement was officially made during pre-race coverage of the Belmont Stakes on NBC, which owns USA Network – the home of WWE Raw and NXT.

STAMFORD, Conn., June 5, 2021 – WWE today announced that SummerSlam will take place from Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on Saturday, August 21 at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT, marking the first time the annual event has been held at an NFL stadium.

Located adjacent to the world-famous Las Vegas Strip, Allegiant Stadium is a state-of-the-art global events destination and home to the Las Vegas Raiders. SummerSlam will be one of the first sporting events held at full capacity at Allegiant Stadium with tickets on sale Friday, June 18. SummerSlam will stream live exclusively on Peacock in the United States and on WWE Network everywhere else.
